This won't be the case, guest posting if done correctly can be one of the best forms of link building possible (although the most expensive as well...), the primary type of links being invalidated is "fake" (low-quality) guest posts on mass AI content based sites that gather traffic quickly and are made for the sole purpose of selling guest posts. We're already seeing these sites getting de-indexed with this latest update, it's pretty simple to understand how Google would determine what links should be valued.
Opt for guest posts on sites that do not show any indications of being a paid or sponsored post, ensure the site owner does not write anywhere on the site that they are accepting guest posts or have a "write for us" section, the author of the article isn't saying they're an SEO or something alike in their description (I've seen writers for guest post sites do this, it's outright stupid). Just check all the basic boxes off that would flag to you that something is most likely a guest post, then Google wouldn't know any better.
Google is looking to clean up the SERP for the better, but with how many sites sell guest posts it will never change, especially when these types of posts can be used innocently. The only thing that'll likely change is the parasite SEO trend, trying to rank pages on high authority sites instead of using them solely for linking back to your site is quite different. The sites found to be lacking oversight over posts like these will receive penalties as it can be misleading to users and quite easy to tell that it doesn't match up to their editorial guidelines, or something that a site of their stature shouldn't be publishing to begin with.
The issue is people doing unnatural things, not the type of link, as usual.
