Like great reddit quality content? Google is the only search engine that passes off reddit junk as quality, and quality sites penalize them. The reason? Reddit is more useful for training its AI junk

This was much needed. Now, we can see an improvement in the quality of search results and spammy practices will cease to exist. Search results are set to get better. Users will get more reliable information.

Remember, just as Google Penguin and Google Panda turned the SEO world upside down, this recent core update with its focus on quality, originality, and increased penalties for expired domains is just the first shot.
It's a very devastating shot for a lot of people, but expect the screws to get tightened even more as the months drag on.
You have to understand that Google uses machine learning, which is a form of AI.
It learns from its experiences and if you think this was devastating, it's going to get even deeper.
It probably won't be as dramatic as before, but more and more sites will get filtered out through the process.
