I was just wondering if anyone offers Google Map Listing services to their clients?

I am currently selling SEO services on niche sites to my clients. They hire the space on my already ranked niche site.

I am also creating Google Map listings for my niche sites and getting them ranked at the top of the maps listing. However, i have had a few businesses who already have a Maps listing ask me if i can get their listing in the 7 box.

My problem isn't getting this done as i know how to do it quite effectively. My issue is how to manage it as the client would have used their own email address and password to create the listing and i would need this in order to gain access and make changes. I know i can get the details from the clients who have specifically asked me to do it but if i am selling this as a service in the future others may not be so keen in giving me passwords etc.

I suppose my question is how do you guys go about managing existing map listings?

Create your own listing out rank them then squeeze their balls.

lol.

I have done that a few times but some clients who have other services with me have asked about improving the maps they already have created.

What happens if i create my own listing for their business and there are 2 listing with the same address etc?

You'll open up a can of worms...don't do it. The new listing will either get deleted or the information will get merged with the old.

or

You can try to create a fake address near the original business location.

if they already have a google maps listing not claimed, claim it with your gmail account since you are the one in charge of taking care of it...... I actually just put a business in the 7box from being nowhere to be found and hes in the number one spot, took about 3 weeks or so.. i used my gmail account for this and i also used it for another business i put in the 7box

I provide you this service. I can give you 50 citations for $25 or 100 for $200. PM me if you are interested.

I won't improve maps clients already had. You lose control that way. I create the listing, website and do the work to get it to rank. If the client "fires" me then I stop the phone number in the listing from forwarding to that client and find a new one to pay me monthly to keep the site at #1. If you use their existing one and they fire you, you're out of luck!

How many listings can you have under the same account?

All my clients are in different niches so it's not as if i could even claim it to be the same business with multiple stores.

i currently claimed 3 in one google account.. when they do the phone verification they call the number that is listed with google.. so the actual business tel number

So i guess you just have to warn the client that the call will come through and to take down the code.

Then listing is confirm and you manage it from your email account.

i have an important question: do you guys use a ton of different IPs in the process of getting in the 7-10 box?

yes you can do that.. google calls within minutes, sometimes seconds once you claim the listing.. also the first time i claimed one was by mail and it took like 3 weeks so u better off doing it by phone

I never have and it hasn't been a problem so far. I suppose it depends on what you are doing to get ranked. If you were commenting and creating a number of citations for the same site i guess you would want to use different IPs. In fact i would suggest you do.

i have a ton of reviews on other sites such as yelp, citysearch, etc. But Google is only showing the reviews i have that were placed directly on google pages. Its been like this for a good 2 months now. How do i get Google to pull in the reviews from the other citation sites?

There is no other way, I have to use their credentials. If it's brand new I still set it up for them not me because you cannot move it later as far as I know.

GP is different than something like Analytics or Adwords where they can grant you access and cancel if they choose.

Your stuck using their account.

Hey man can you share how you rank for the 7 box..

I have claimed a new client's listing before even though it was already verified by them. Inside your Places account click on Add another business. Type in their number, their listing should pop up. Click Edit. Then change something, save it, and it will send another PIN to the client. Once it's verified again their biz is now in your account.
