I'm at 2nd position but those new google maps and results are first. To be clear they are 1st , 2nd place on browser is #1 and I'm #2 - how to and will I jump them if I will make more backlinks?

it will depend on the keyword. I see maps come up 1st sometimes 2nd, 3rd even 4th.
So yes it seems possible to outrank. You can always try to add your own listings on maps/places
yeah this is what I know already. Anyone done that? They are new in google rankings :/. Now 1st spot isn't everything you need to be before maps :| This is sick :/
