Google maps money

So i was planing places to go on google map and saw alot of google photos uploaded by user's and i thinked what do they care and why do they take so much photos of so much places? Do google give them some money for the taken photo? As i investigated i saw a thread about you listing business listing in google maps and google giving you up to 10 dollars for a listing (it was a thread from 2007 doe i am 10 years late). So do anyone know some stuff about google maps? In the latest years they have many new features.

As i investigated even more i saw that a dude (local that lives nearby me) is uploaded 300 photos, last one was 8 months ago and he was a streetview trusted? For some reason when i try to give a link it marks it as spam.

Google now sometimes asks you to leave a review or photo of place you visit recently.

They also rolled out a "Local Guide" program. You can unlock some rewards for sharing info about places. Google it for more information.

I am more in this field now, so guys you can't really earn with google maps, you can unlock rewards that are not worth the time.
