Google Maps / Local Business! MoFo's!

Ive just noticed that one of my competitors has regaistered my companies name as theirs in Google maps. Not only that, they have regsieterd the same business 13 times. So when you type the name of my business into google maps, they take up all the places for local businesses. Is there a way to prevent this? Or complain?

there is a (is this accurate) button and (is this helpful) and (flag as inappropriate) in -more- next to search nearby inside the expended business listing. plus you can go into the listing and edit it by clicking on the red dot on the map location, this will bring up another small window which you can zoom, send to phone, save to maps, but you will have to verify by either phone or mail. eventually, if all the info is not verified by other web citations his listings will fall of the map.

in general, you are better off securing the map as -yourbusinessname - local town/city + your keyword
