Google Love my website, I don't !

Hello, I have a wordpress site, 3 years old used for news [ politics, sports, general tech etc. ]
since adsense got low, i stopped working on it, and started a new site based on social media traffic, and it's doing well.

Thing is, both sites are included in Google news, but only the one i hate get ranked quickly, like Just few seconds after posting an article, it get indexed and also get first page for couple days. but not on my other site

I did same work and effort on both sites, only difference is the domain age, one 3 years, other 1 year.
Any suggestion ?

Why not transfer ur main focus on the one u getting fast indexes?
P.S; mind telling us how u got on google news? how old is ur site etc..?

I just applied and got their , most articles posted are original , and also images.
site was 1 month old when i applied.

I am under notion that you should focus on site you love.

It is better to love site and make less money than hate site and make more money.

Sell the main site on Flippa if you don't like it, spend the money on the one you enjoy building.

Since its already raking and doing well, how about you try add more content, get the adsense revenue to at least $500 a month then sell the website? The money you get from selling it can now be invested in the other website that you love now that capital wont be a problem.

Thank you guys for your reply, so nobody suggested that i do 301 redirect from old to new site :/ lol i was hoping someone say that.

It could be a question of age and backlink profile that the new site may not have.
