Google Local Ads-Do You Have The Same Business Name as Your Competitor

It's good to be here in this forum...I would like to know more about this..

I had a question, what happens when two people with the same type of business, with the same keywords, decide to create a business listing. I am assuming Google will have the problem of duplicate listings, especially if you work for the same agency as your competition. Most brand or large companies will require you to use their company name in the title of all your advertising.

I don't know about googleplaces, but anyone with a brick and mortar business with a fictitious name has to register it with the Secretary of State who prevents duplicates. Sometimes the dba also must be registered with the municipality as well. (all in the name of revenue enhancement of course)
