Google Linking to Wordpress "Tag" not actual page

I'm having a problem with Google linking to the WordPress "tag" not the post itself, does anyone else have this problem?

For example Google links to:
http :// # www . domain #.com/tag/discount-shoes

It should be linking to the post:
http :// # www . domain #.com/discount-shoes

It's getting pretty annoying as none of my posts are ranking as its linking to the tag of the post, not the post itself.

(Edit: Had to break up URL's to post as Im new)

Yes I get it fairly frequently. Sometimes Google just loves tags. I send more links to the actual post and the post will eventualy rank higher.

it just happen, just get lots of backlinks to your page to make it rank higher
