Apparently google is launching google plus, its answer to facebook.

So far i think its crap, but who knows.
 
google wave never took off from the ground, now they're trying this again? gonna be another fail from google, they either need to jv with facebook if they want a slice, or stick to what they're good at
 
Does anyone remember "google buzz"..they got sued because of that.
 
More competition is always a good thing. They are trying to set themselves apart by making it limited to number of users you share your content with. Let's see how this turns out.
 
I'm just not okay with them trying to buy their competition and then when the competition refuses they just clone it.

They did it with yelp, groupon, twitter, and now facebook.

Competition = web traffic

Social networking is hot these days, so the more competition the better. It's just another step of the net evolution. Who remembers Gopher or Veronica today? Who will remember Facebook or Google+ in 10-20 years?
 
I think facebook and google put more of a mark on the world we live in today then the formers.
 
Sorry Google +1 or Google plus? Is the Google plus something different?
 
Will require your real name to use the service, so finally google can give all the anon searchers a name. At least for those who signup. Because some people are really so stupid to use their real names in social networks.
