Cool!

That's good to know.

This video makes out email warmup is dead.....

Google revoked their API access to warmup tools.

60% of methods are not based on API only to kill warmup they have to remove gmail totally and they wont do that :D
Do you think Google is going to release their own cold email set up?

I wouldn't worry about any of this. Google doesn't make any money from email. It's not a priority for them. They don't really care.

I'm not so much worried.......I'm wondering what Google motives are.

I watched another interesting video today about Google losing so much value in the stock market they are scared.

Chat Gpt has Google on the run.

And one of the reasons why Google have revoked their API accress to warmup tools is because they are going to relaese their own warmup / cold email solution ( and charge money for it )

I use the business workspace account without warming up and it's working just fine, but I only send hundreds of emails, not thousands.

Probably not much.

I doubt google are scared.

They haven't really lost anything

https://share.getcloudapp.com/X6uKWpDd They're up a tiny bit over the past year.

Apple are down 10% - https://share.getcloudapp.com/llu7mqy7

Microsoft are down 16% - https://share.getcloudapp.com/5zujWx1Y

Tesla are down 30% - https://share.getcloudapp.com/2Nub145r

99.9% of what you read on the internet in 2023 is bullshit.

It's gotten WAY worse. In 2015 it was more like 80%.

The algorithms reward fear, bullshit, panic and mania.

It's REALLY clear to me recently with all the AI. I've been an expert in AI since long before the recent mania. I understand at a mathematical level how gpt, bert and transformers in general work. Not at a SUPER deep level to the stage where I could implement them with pure code, but if you gave me enough time I could create a transformer model from scratch without any libraries. It is pretty complex, but I understand enough.

So for me, when I see all these influencers talk about AI, it's just laughable. You can see just how full of shit they all are. They have no knowledge and no care for the content they're creating. They just want to create extravagent stories to get views and retention.

Google is not scared, because chatgpt is not going to replace it. It's not possible. It's so far off what it would take to replace google. We are 15 years off that.

Now is the time for them to start looking at their long game, but nothing is going to change in the next 3-4 years.

There are so many reasons.

chatgpt is trained on a corpus of text that is then frozen in time.

It has no memory/knowledge. chatgpt doesn't even have a memory. It's just relying on the large 8096 token size of gpt3.5.

It has no way to cite any of its knowledge. You have no way to know if what it's saying is true, or WHY it's true, or in what context it's true.

It's just a text completion engine. That's all. You can do a lot of amazing things with it, but it's very far off being a one stop solution for knowledge. Realistically, AI is now where the internet was in the early 90's. It's just a little different because influencers are pushing it. We didn't have a way to spread information in the 90's like we do today, so the internet didn't get as much attention as AI is getting now.

What you're going to see is AI will be like a bubble. There will be a lot of mania, then it'll burst and reality will kick back in. It'll then start to grow again and the real stuff will start happening 15-20 years from now.

The other big reason it's not viable just now is cost. Microsoft and OpenAI are burning cash. OpenAI is NOT profitable. It only made $35 mil in REVENUE in 2022.

THIS is why Google is jumping all over it. They could easily dominate. Their technology is a couple of years ahead of OpenAI and they have more money. It's just not profitable right now.

It's SUPER expensive and the best applications of AI right now are niche based because of that.

Once we have quantum computing in the mainstream, AI will properly kick off.

Right now. Just enjoy the easy profits from the early AI revolution, but life wise it will be nothing revolutionary.

I always learn really good info from your responses.

Thanks

Warmup can be done in several ways.
Basically it is not any API related or tools. The terms is very simple and it is sending normal emails.
The way gmass warmed up, maybe that can be shut down, but the term "warm up" can not be shutdown.

Great stuff.

So cold email isn't dead?

It's essentially the same as a Private Blog Network.

If you buy links from a PBN from somewhere such as the market place, it's not technically a 'private' network.

The same for using warm up services.

However, if you control your own warm up email accounts - it's a lot harder for them to 'stop' you as when you lose accounts, you just open new ones.

The large mailers have this in house. Opening and farming tens of thousands of seed accounts.

Those of you doing 'cold outreach' could easily keep this in house as you are not mailing big enough volumes to where it becomes a headache.

Also, keep in mind that most warm up services lie and are mainly using seeds anyway.

API is not required at all, it just makes the commercial side easier.

The PBN comparison helped too.

Completely agree.

My use of ai now is very niche, which means i can train it to do exactly what i want it to do on a pre-determined data set, nothing more and it copes very well with that.

But if i was google and quantum computers came into play i would kill seo.

Page 1 for search would be a chatbot and ads only. So, the only way you leave would be to click an ad.

There are many ways for warm-up, bots, microworkers...

The same as everything related to internet marketing they make updates we find the work around.
