Morning all, I am wondering how you guys check for relevant and good keywords to use? I used to use this a while back (had a break) to figure out which keywords got xx amount of searches in the uk etc - i know about google trends but doesnt tend to give as much info?

Could anyone suggest anything to use please?

    Thanks in advance

    Google keyword planner?

Google changed its keyword tool a few months back. Google keyword planner is sort of better anyway.

That only (from what I can tell) gives you a CPC cost and doesnt give traffic information etc?

Is that correct or am i looking in the wrong place?

    Thanks again

Indeed, he's very nice and very helpful.. he even sent out an email a while ago asking for suggestions on how to improve it, and then, he actually implemented it and made it work! Top job.

Your looking in the wrong place. Keyword planner give you all traffic amounts. Login to adwords. . ----tools and analysis tab --- keyword planner. Search for new kw / group ideas, put filters in click 'get ideas'. then click on the tab keyword ideas and you'll see all the traffic volumes.

I use Market Samurai to interface with the Keyword Planner for me, just seems easier somehow.
