I did an exact search for a long tail keyword and results were 3600. Then I did broad search and the result was Not enough data . I did search in a couple other keyword tools I have and they both came back with 0 results for searches. Went back and double checked exact search - same 3600 result.
Did regular google search and there were plenty of adwords, so I know the term gets searched, since so many were bidding for the term.

Can anyone explain why broad search is less then exact? Or why other two tools came back with zero searches?

Each tool works a bit different, at the end of the day though they are just estimates. You can't complain about an estimate. :)

Can't understand google either. Each tool has different results, but paid ones usually come out great even it has not enough data in google. Do cross check with other tools first to see if there is any traffic.

If you are searching for a new keyword term that people has just started searching recently, the keyword tools might not have enough data for you.

Yeah its nice tool.

but while coming to traffic, u get 5% of what u see there if u rank top 3

thats it..
