Google Keyword Tool; am I doing it wrong?

Hey guys, I seem to be getting super low results whenever I put in my searches in the google Keyword Tool.

For instance, for "online dating":
-I checked the box for "Only show ideas closely related to my search terms"
-I checked the box for [exact] searches
-Selected "All Countries" and "All Languages"

It gives me both a Global and Local Monthly Search results of only 165,000. This cannot be right. Am I doing something wrong?

I usually get low results when I use exact. 165000 seems like a lot of searches though, over 5000 per day.
