google keyword planner

hello BHW users, I was checking out google adwords keyword planner today. I logged in and searched for various keywords. Then I asked my buddy to search for the same keyword. Both us did it like [ word ] and hit get search volume. The numbers we got were different. The exact search volume and CPC it was showing me for the same keyword was 600 with 69 cents whereas my buddy got the search volume of 290 and $1.50 for the same keyword. How is it possible?? Then I used my another google id and logged in and tried the search volume and cpc was same as it was telling me from another id i.e. 600 and 69 cents. Why so?

Lets search for a keyword say [sin card]...the search I get for this is 3600 with 2.47 cpc....where as my buddy gets 270 only and 1.49 as cpc.??

Please let me know your values for the same search..... Lets see do we get different search volumes? Because I dont know which one is correct. Another thing is I'm using mozilla and my buddy is using it through Internet explorer.....but I dont't think this should make any difference...

So why is your buddy gettings different numbers?

that what I want to know...there must be something wrong... and its not for only one word he is getting it different its pretty much for every word

Did you both use the same PC, or same location? Variance in devices or location maybe?

its a same location, but different pc's.... but just for that reason I jumped on to his pc and logged in with my Id and interestingly it gave me the same search which I was getting on my PC...so it has something to do with accounts I think
