Hello!

I am trying to figure out how to use Google keyword planner to its best ability as it looks as though it has a lot of potential....

I am simply trying to get a list of ideas for different keywords. So far I am typing in the areas my client works in and its services. I have put this list into all sections:

Search for new keyword and ad group ideas
Get search volume for a list of keywords or group them into ad groups
Get traffic estimates for a list of keywords
Multiply keyword lists to get new keyword ideas

Yet no section comes up with new ideas, it just displays my own list.

Any tips on getting new keyword ideas using this tool?

Thanks + rep given!

A paid tool that pays into Google's current obsession with "question and answer" based phrases ranking so highly.

Google wants the internet to become it's own magic 8 ball. "Where can I find the most egregiously profiteering short term clusterfuck of a search engine"

A typical "lowest common denominator" approach.
The "Hummingbird" method is gamed to shit already barely a few weeks in.
Needing the questions and answers literally SPELLED OUT FOR THEM shows how utter shit their normal language algorithm is at understanding anything.
Great information professor Frink, you've cured cancer...sadly though as you didn't couch the title of you paper as the answer to a question - we're not printing the fucker

Just how dumb are Google?
