Hello guys , so I found this keyword with tons of monthly searches and it says low competition . I never made a proper website (only made blogger sh*ts ) and I was told when you are new at this you should'nt try keywords with loads of searches because of the competition . Now my question is if I can trust what it says about low competition and if I could really test my luck on it?. I mean for that amount of searches someone must found it already? But I made a search and all I could find was wikipedia's and other websites in the same niche but not fully dedicated on that keyword , just a couple of articles.

And I would also love to know the best price/quality web hosting and domain for me to choose , knowing that I have a 50$ budget.
Thank you all in advance

low competition in keyword planner means low competition for google ads, not as competition in SEO terms

this means you might not earn much if you will use adsene...has nothing to do with how hard is it to rank for that keyword

Download Market Samurai. Do competition analysis to get a clearer picture.

If it's low competition for AdWords, you could try going that route to bring more traffic to your site. You can Google "adwords coupons". I know right now there'a a 'Buy $25 of AdWords, get $75 free", which is only half of your $50 budget! Just a thought. That coupon can be found from Google domain /ads/adwords-coupon. h t m l (Sorry, I'm not allowed to put in URLs).

To your question about hosting and domains.

I've been satisfied with Linode for hosting and Dynadot for domains. Linode is unmanaged, so it will require some linux knowledge.

First of all thank you all for the answers. Now I installed my trial version of Market samurai , and after de 2 wikipedias theres my main "competitor" (not yet xD) and he has 14k domain backlinks 0 pagebacklinks . The keyword is made of two words and he has the first word in url title and description. Do I have any chance of actually outrank him in this keyword ?

SEOCTR - A low value CAN indicate a low competition in a market = 1%
I thinking its sounding too good to be true . Anyways I think Im gonna give it a try.
So can someone suggest me the best place to get my hosting and domain ? Im thinking of godaddy for domain and hostgator for hosting ...

Hey guys need a quick advice please ! Like I said my kw has 2 words and the domain: word1word2.com is already taken by some shit in sedo.com , if I buy something like: word1andword2.com will it affect anyhow my ranking?

you don't really have to get an EMD, word1andword2.com will work fine or you can go for .net or .org

Awesome , the domain is mine . Where should I get my hosting considering that right now I only have 10$ avaiable?

site5.com
hostwinds.com

Those are the ones that I use, you can look up coupons for hostwinds, the first month is like 5 cents, and site5 has a special going on as well where the first month is free.

Good luck

You shouldn't have bought the domain name. I wish I saw this thread earlier.

Next time, stay away from anything that has tons of monthly searches and Wikipedia and other authority sites ranking at the top. It's going to be difficult to outrank those sites even if they aren't exactly targeting the keyword.
