Google Keyword Planner (Or Alternative?)

Google Adwords/Keyword Planner is very difficult to use now, it's laggy/slow and won't even work sometimes. Does anybody know how I can get on the legacy keyword planner or is there an accurate tool that I can use to find keyword search volumes?

Every keyword tool uses keyword planner to get their data atleast the one's I am familiar with.
 
The follwing keyword planner tools are good and free,
1.WordStream’s very own keyword tool (for both SEO and PPC keyword research)
2.Soovle
3.Ubersuggest
4.Search Term/Query Reports
 
I used to choose Keyword Planner but now I'm using Ubersuggest, Soovle and kwfinder.com :)
 
Keywords everywhere plugin + Keyword shitter. Massive.

Nothing I've tried is a real substitute to Keyword Planner, but I now use Keywords Everywhere browser plugin, but I'm questioning how accurate and updated the search volumes are. Apart from that I use kwfinder and love the interface and user experience. I found Keyword Researcher from Clevergizmos to be a nice tool to find long tails.

You won't be able to get any legacy adwords account unfortunately, they are in the process of migrating all accounts to the new data ranges interface, if they did not finish the transition already.

There are some keyword research tools on the market that are fast and provide exact searches too (hint hint: check my signature) so all hope is not lost. :).
 
My suggestion is kwfinder.com
