John Mueller confirmed that Google’s ranking systems reward content made for humans. Not content engineered for LLMs.

Not AIO tactics.
Not GEO formatting.
Not pages written to be summarized well.

If something ranks, it is because it helps users. Not because an AI likes it.

AI visibility and search visibility are not the same thing. Google is treating them differently, and that distinction matters.

But in order for human to see such content it need to go through machine and bot...

Google's spokespeople have been saying this shit forever. The one consistent thing to remember for SEOs is to take everything they say with a pinch of salt.

They are spokespeople that are there to convince you of something, not to truly inform you.

Interesting move by Google GuestFlow! Looks like they’re doubling down on user-first content. AI might help with volume but human-centric value is what’s really going to win out in 2025.

Google ranks pages for humans first, so content should solve real problems, not just be written to impress AI.

A lot of AEO/GEO stuff works for getting cited, but it doesn’t move organic rankings unless users actually stay, scroll, and complete intent. Treat AI visibility as a bonus channel, if you build for humans first, search rankings follow, not the other way around

How users interact with the page is critical now, If users don't like the content its hard to rank, therefore it has to cater to humans 100%

That's right, I also clearly see that Google still prioritizes content that solves real problems for readers. Writing articles for AI might get you mentioned somewhere, but for sustainable ranking, you still need to optimize for user intent and real-world experience

Exactly. AI visibility and Google rankings aren’t the same. Optimizing for users, intent, and usefulness matters far more than chasing LLM-friendly formats.

The future trend is AI-powered search. High-quality content will be prioritized because AI recommends the best content to users and uses it to answer their questions.

Of course this was going to happen. What do you think? That Google likes to index AI written content?

Does it means google has finally started to use ai content detector and how. That's the real question John mueller need to answer.

It's interesting to see the shift in focus towards user-centric content, and I completely agree that high-quality content will be prioritized in AI-powered search. I'd love to know more about how Google plans to distinguish between human-generated and AI-generated content - does anyone have any insights on potential AI content detection methods that might be in use? This could be a game-changer for content creators and SEO strategies, and I'm eager to learn more about the implications of this trend.

Company that is hard pushing AI says that AI generated stuff does not matter... hmm, this smells like a pile of sheit

AI content also helps. Something is good for llms also good for human as well. This is an unending battle. They force us to write for llms we don't.
