Guys,

Seriously. This is a baaad place. I mean that in a good way for us. But, and theres a big but.

When someone here posts a thread like
"Get 6 **************** links NOW for free".

Is it only ME that gets the impression that any site linked to from any sites on those 6 is now in danger of being fooked?

If I were gooble - I would definately employ people to scan forums like this and add penalties for such links.

From the info I could get from here - if I were a google engineer - I could totally shaft every single one of you in the ass.

I could locate your domains from the links - locate your whois - shaft every single site I could find of yours (probably thousands per month as a gooble employee doing it all day) - I could shaft every site that you link to - every site that links to you aswell.

I could also add things to the auto spam filters to detect you in the future aswell automatically.

What do you guys think?

why would you ban ALL of the domains?

there are legit and non legit ones on the same page(s)...

too many factors. im sure they already do this to a degree tho.
 
I'm sure this is just speculative bullshit as many of the people on this forum outperform everybody else in SERPs. If all of our links were being penalized by Google then how are our sites doing so well?

This is a horrible idea as well because it would also penalize many legitimate websites as well which just happen to have links from those URLs before they are posted in BHW.

Don't overcomplicate stuff. I'm 99% sure Google don't employ people to scan forums all the day to find guys who cheat with 6 (!) backlinks :-)
They also don't manually check the 10+ billion websites in their index... Blackhat FTW :) Just do it smart.

Many Many times - gooble has thrown the baby out with the bathwater - and they couldnt give a shit.

Hey - all this is speculation of course - but it has me wondering you know - some gooble spunk face wants to get promoted and manages to wipe out a hell of a lot of article spam and junk links. Then he goes and does it again and again. Eventually hell get the pay rise at the very least for sticking his tongue down sergeys pants.

Just some thoughts.
 
meh, the web is big. i mean REALLY big. they have gazillions of sites to rank and crawl.. to put that in perspective, if they would bother investigating and creating algo exceptions for some "get 6 links here" stuff, it would be like.. well... you get the idea :)

just my opinion though
 
I have been to the Google offices and met some of the people that look at this forum.

They are more interested in the way that the industry is attempting to market sites so that it can adapt overall. Not just pick up the few people on this forum.

They are only interested in providing good search results to the billions of people searching. That is why that have introduced time on page and bounce rate slapping. You can backlink like crazy, get to number one and if your content is rubbish or your targeting unrelated keywords google will drop you to 150 in a heart beat.

The human aspect of Google is more for the reviewing of number one sites which are on high traffic terms. High traffic was explained to me as sites over 100k searches a day. The people looking and moderating this are fresh out of UNI and its a stepping stone to better things within the company.

Unfortunately they did not offer me a job? Because I would have excepted it and been your personal mole ;)
 
Google, a Multi-Billion media agency, don't give a damn about anything shared in forums and do not employ people to waste their time.
Nothing about google is manual. Everything is automated and algorithmed.
The only thing they care about is providing accurate search results so they could sell their services to advertisers .
If there is something they may actually follow manually it will be their competitors. Yahoo and Bing.

Rubbish ... when ever anyone on BHW offers a freebie i always supply my competitor web site and watch to see if there site does anything!
So if google was playing around and looking for sites to ban, good! its not mine hahaha.

95% is automated and they only manually look at big fish which excludes everyone under a page rank of 7.

couldn't agree more. people get paranoid about some really unnecessary stuff. lol i gotta think that google being the massive company it is has much more important stuff to worry about. i mean if you're cakin 50k a day or something raping them i could see you having something to worry about and i know he was just speculating but i'm speaking in general terms as well. it's never a good idea to hammer anything to the point of calling attention to yourself. and as far as screwing people in here i don't know why they would do that when there's more then a couple of people in here that operate completely legit sites. i get where you were going with this but i just dont see it.
 
I must be paranoid then probably. I understand the scales of the net.
A while back (maybe a few years now) I read reports of them hiring people to look at the serps and as I understand it - get shut of "thin affiliates".
I read the instruction sheets which were handed out to these freaks who went round hunting thin sites down.
At the last read - they had about 30,000 home worker types doing this "snitch" type stuff. So they dont do it on a small scale.
I also understood that the snitches findings were used to "improve" the search algos - not to just hand out manual penalties which would be far to large a task even for 30,000 snitching sychophants.

Hmmmmm - im pondering and what not - I guess the best thing to do is test myself what happens if I use link resources from this forum (or similar).

I think we also have to consider the possibility of the low life pond scum which would file spam reports. Not site owners - just nerd arses with nothing better to do - they are out there.

Paid links (for example) - goog (I think) actively asks webmasters to snitch on sites who offer paid links. Now with that in mind, I KNOW they manually hunt things down.

Its a tricky one. G is the enemy for me - I dont trust them at all and never ever will.
