Google is a problem

Thinking about it,
every business that wants to make something of itself as to suck up to google in one way or the other
every individual, charities, small businesses, start-ups, writers, politicians, organisation have to please google the way they want.
Their system is so compromised that the internet is now becoming monotone.
I can remember how fun it was back then, when search result will take you to a totally random but relevant and cool blog or webpage by ordinary people.

Now the number 1 result is reserved for Wikipedia, Yahoo answers, IMDB etc

PR - Nonsense
Titles like - Panda and Penguin they sound like a joke and i suggest their staffs should start wearing suit to work so they can think like responsible adults.

google could have ended 12 : 21 : 2012

Ergh, here we go again.. Google is just a fucking corporate entity whose only objective is to make money... not assist black hatters in making money.

If you hate it, then get out of the SEO game. Me? I personally make money thanks to Google. If you can do better than Google, please go ahead and I will bow to you and do whatever you dictate SEO-wise to rank my quality sites to #1.
 
:D:D:D Nothing will get as big as Google, really. If really there are other search engines which come through, the traffic will get split. Till then, Google still is the way to make money and if we need to follow its rules, so be it!
 
No, a number of people use it for their favorite search engine include me, Google give valuable experience, so many people can get money from it
 
Google isn't manipulating it's own system to rank pages like wikipedia, yahoo, amazon, etc. We all know that backlinks = rankings (as it always has). Sorry to break it to you, but those websites just have more (natural) backlinks than your little MNS. They have PR9 and people always use them as a reference when linking to a relevant site, giving them tons of real backlinks from real places.

You want to change the game? Make every1 else stop linking back to them.
 
Play the cards you are dealt. Google is there, so develop a strategy with that in mind.
 
Actually, this is a very valid and cogent point. Think about it... I use a link to a wikipedia at the end of most of my posts, etc... Which naturally gives Wikipedia a lot of juice. And most people do something similar.

Bottom line, Google is here, so deal with them; or use paid traffic and tell Google to screw.

Personally, I like the challenge of trying to beat Google at their own game. Granted, it is time consuming; but it is fun when you do, and you learn some valuable stuff.

Well, All I can say is that Google has been the best thing I have encountered in IM. Though there are a few problems with it of late, still no one take away the fact that it has been a cash cow for many IMers.

I agree with the sentiments here, esp. the "Adapt or die" statement - Google may be a "problem" but it seems they're not going to go anywhere, we just have to continue to play their game!!
 
2 real facts :- Guess which one you are now,

1. "Google is a problem" for one who not ranked well - not got good earning with organic traffic or facing difficulties to bring good search result

2. "I love Google" for one who ranked top pages on search result - awesome earning with organic traffic.
