I built a new site and submitted my sitemap a week and a half ago and my site is still not indexed. Sites I've built in the past have been added within a day. This one is stuck on "Pending" with no errors from Google. Any ideas?

I submitted a new website on December 27th. 3 of 11 pages was indexed today, still waiting for the other pages to appear.
My other 20+ websites was indexed within a few days. Something has changed around new years.

Hi Op, sometimes it takes a couple of week ti index. Try to share the page on the social networks. Make google to crawl those page frequently.
Be patient. If your page having unique content means no need to worry.

Add ?something=2323023 to your sitemap url and resubmit it. Remove the old sitemap.

Maybe googlebot got drunk and got stuck with your other submission.

Check the major pages carefully (homepage, landings, main category pages) and make sure none is restricted from indexing in any way by mistake (check robots.txt, individual pages` tags and header responses for x-robots instructions). You can also use any site audit tool that allows crawling the website on behalf of Googlebot, to see how your website appears to it - sometimes it helps to detect the possible issue you might have accidentally missed.

Go to webmaster tools and go to "Fetch as Google" and put your root domain and all possible searches available (Desktop, Mobile, etc) and also use option to index all pages in a matter of minutes your website should be index.

    Hope it helps!
