Yes, Google is now indexing comments and other javascript enabled comments... This is actually very beneficial for the websites which needs to maintain customer feedback on their websites. These comments actually helps in improving the website.
How?
You can't post links in the comments, they are stripped. About the only thing that it will benefit is the Youtube username's channel.
