So I was doing some keyword research for some Clickbank products and I came across a popular product with the word "review" after the product title. What's interesting though is that when I searched for the keyword in Google, the second position has a date next to it, but the date is March 28, 2013, ie. the future.

So what's up with this? Is it a new trick to manipulate SERPs or what? Has anyone heard of this before?

All the website owner did was change his post date. Anyone can do this on wordpress.

I was thinking about that, but why would Google allow that to be indexed with a date from the future? Is this a loophole or what?
