GOOGLE INDEXING ISSUE

Same exact thing happened to me. I had no idea it was happening either because I was so busy.. My site is 4 months old now and I recently realized that out of 42 pages, 12-15 fell out of index after capturing a few impressions here and there.

Bummer but I'm getting some pages indexed again now. Oh well, can't rush it I guess.

I am trying to trust others and just assume it some random thing now with google. When I see a problem with my website I want to fix it, but I guess it’s nothing I can fix. My sites a little older than your site. when someone says to be patient and that it’s common, yet you see some Journey thread posts in here with people killing it by month 4 or 5, it causes panic.

I'm assuming it's a bug on google tbh. I have a list of ranking keywords that I'll be checking when everything is gone from site: search. If things show when I search the keywords its just problem with google showing results with site:.

I have been learning seo online by my own however have not yet got any substantial progress yet ....how I can learn it effectively....any advice for me?

I came back to this thread now that my site:****.com search shows fewer results. There is something bugged with that search or it's working as intended in ways we cannot know lol.

My post doesn't show in that search, but when I put site:****.com/post on it it's found. Or when I copy the performance page from google search console and check the keyword that is not found on site: it's there.

If you're worried, you can try the previous options. If your keyword is ranking according to the google search console, but it cannot be found then it's strange.

i have the same problem/case, but mainly with websites/articles with no/weak backlink profile

when I do site:website.com/post random pages that were showing up are nowhere to be found. Happens more and more.

That is stressful. If they show as indexed and there is no warning and the page is old, I really don't know what to do. Maybe some more experienced SEO expert has an answer for that in here.

All I can think of is to relocate the page, but that might seem an unwanted solution. Other than that, add more content and keyword to the page and submit the URL again on the google search console. If you have extra money to spend, try buying a few links to that page to test out if that helps.

If money and time don't help, don't know what else to do if you want to get Google traffic.

Edit: @hideath mentioned a weak backlink profile so there is that way to go.
