Google indexed the "tag" for my keyword rather than the article?

So I've been monitoring my ranking for this one keyword in particular and noticed that recently the big G indexed the "tag" rather than my main article on that keyword. Therefore, if you click the link you are taken to the page that includes the tag rather than the article.

Why would that happen? Wouldn't G be more interested in the content rather than the tag?
