Google indexed post but not links. Why?

I built a particular link recently and have been watching out for Google to index the link. It was a contextual forum link. I didn't do anything after building the link like tier 2 links or using indexing tools. Then today I decided to check if the post has been indexed. It has, but the links in the post seem not to have been indexed, because I can't find them among the indexed links in Search Console.

Do I have to wait longer, or have the links been skipped for some reason?

I noticed two from last 2 days it not working as usual as it was working perfectly before maybe GWT is upgrading Console it maybe affecting.

I have built several links from the ones shared on this site, but only Webestools has been indexed so far. This makes the link building task so tiring.
 
the search console doesn't show you all the backlinks you have .... it show you only a sample (few of them)... but that doesn't mean google don't know about them... be sure if the bots crawl the page... they will notice your link.. but the impact on your rankings can take time.. be patient..

Do not remove links from your post let them be in for 2 to 3 days.
 
if the forum url is indexed in google the backlink will have been crawled by google. GWT may show it in a month or two or maybe not but your website will certainly get the value of that backlink.
 
i have had this same issue with some of my pbn links. I have noticed the boost from them but they are not showing up in search console.. i cant seem to figure out why either
