Hello
I just notice one of my (few) PBN domain (I'm more into 2.0s) has been indexed on google has https... anyway all the backlinks redirect to http... also http can be opened with no problem at all so there is no 301 redirect... this is pretty strange because I setup the website using the non-https version... I think this happened due something related to the host... Anyway this could be a problem? Should I make a redirect? I think yes but I'm not sure...please help me

A 301 only loses around 15% of juice according to Google. And I believe that was external so an internal 301 might not loose any. I wouldn't worry.

no I'm not using cloudflare
an there is no internal 301

I don't know why Google has been doing this lately, been happening to me a lot... now I use a https to http 301 code in htaccess.

Maybe hosting providers started to give customers ssl for free?

If http:// and http://www. redirect to the actual homepage, then all is fine. If you really want to use http, then you will have to install GWT and set your prefered version. That will, however, take some time to take effect.

no redirect but show the homepage... just like if it's a duplicate content

This is very very very very very bad. Immediatelly set up redirects to the preferred version.

Good Question, it really makes no sense to me.
You're forcing http instead of https? Why?

Because-
A) The links don't point to https
B) I don't actually have a https cert, so when this temp cert expires that the host apparently accidentally gives (can view expiration in Chrome) the https links will no longer work properly.
C) Because I use certain scripts that require a proper and stable URL, having https indexed, then cert expire is not good for me.

A) Not a problem.

B) Cloudflare.

C) I have no idea.

You have no idea what you're doing.

I've been doing blackhat SEO full-time for 8 years. Haven't had a client in 5 years, aka, I make all my money with affiliate sites in the most competitive markets online. I know what I'm doing bud, thanks. Internet keyboard warrior acting like he's the only one that knows SEO. Hilarious.

The real test is raising a 8 year old child entirely from IM. When you do that, you'll improve your attitude.
