Google Index suddenly down for many sites,isn't it?

Dark side for me it is.

Virtually all of mine got buggered nicely before Christmas and up until then I considered myself to be very pale.

The force it beckons me..

My Google traffic increased around 30% this month across a few sites.

This is what I've been doing:

A lot of legit social networking, and tweaking the layouts with .css and PHP alterations.

uggh im finding it almost impossible to get my html page indexed I was testing out a method and everythings on hold thnx to google (-____-)

So far it has been a horrible declining experience, and for some reason I can't get any help from BHW. 3 of my threads stay with exactly 0 answers...

From 1.8K to 400$ this month :/

Yup same things happening on my end. I ran 4 sites which were ranking decently, only to find they had dropped hard earlier this week. These are not thin content sites either. I was afraid it was only me and some of my linking techniques that caused this, even though for the most part it was white-ish hat. but seeing all these stories makes me realize that this is something much more drastic. Looks like we'll have to wait and see over the next couple weeks what happens...

Did you guys used article marketing in your back-linking strategy?

I believe that drops in the rankings have something in common with huge deindexation of practically all article directories. At least keywords I ranked using AMR lost a lot of positions, while keywords ranked using other methods did not lose anything.

It is very stranger, Today when I check again, all deindexed pages indexed again.
Not only my sites, but all other sites I checked. Like nothing happened in these two days.

So it is a Panda mistake or just rehersal before another bigger action?

My site has also dropped in rankings on the 27th it seems that my rankings have dropped back to there old rankings which would explain the data refresh as my serps started improving in November when the last panda update occurred.
But i find this confusing as they are saying that the panda 3.2 update is a refresh which has dropped my site back but in my niche i seem to be the only person that updates my site with fresh useful content and i build quality backlinks i have no ads or affiliate links as this is a offline business i understand that when the November panda update came out that alot of sites lost rankings but they still have the same problem as people who have been working hard for the last 4 months and rank high get dropped because of panda 3.2
I understand g00gle rule but you do exactly what they want and get dropped overnight i cant really see how my competitors offer more value as they are all static sites that never update any fresh content.

Has anyone who got hit the start of January regained any of there rankings?
