Google Images Case study

Hi guys,

ive been around the forums now for a few months and have not done much to help or contribute until now.

Doing a little study on what one can do to improve google images rankings. In this case study we have the following

1. Google image on 3rd row of first page.
2. top 5 images are showing for a designated keyword.

I am going to be doing a combination of social image sharing submissions as well as Xrumer blasts and a few other things. I will post what i have done and the type of results i am getting. Hopefully this helps some ppl out on image ranking.

Let me know if you have any suggestions on things to try and i will post results.

The site itself is pretty well ranked for some words, but the images are not just an fyi

so how is your case study going?

Most people wouldn't even care to rank in google images as it is just waste of bandwidth and resources and such traffic never converts. Anyway, looking forward to know the progress of your case study.

Google images traffic would work wonders for me. Please keep us updated on your case study.

Its pretty easy to rank google images, you just need to surround an image with the right keyword density text, the right url in the post and the right image sub text. You shoudn't even need to do SEO on them..they rank themselve.
I've been able to rank images on the front page of google for very high searched phrases that brought me in 1k visitors a day, I tried all kinds of methods to convert the traffic but its just not worh it.

The best way would be to run a news or azon site, use a frame breaker so they get redirected from google, then use a standard redirect on the site to get them to the main page and hope something converts.
Another way to make something out of the visitors would be to clickjack a social script on Facebook, but other than that I wouldn't be wasting my time, you'll have a bounce rate of 95% and people will stay on your site for 10 seconds max.
