Google Images - 1st Page - SEO Methods

Link to the picture just as you would a standard website.

The only difference between Google Images and Google normal is that you won't need anywhere near the number of links to rank in it.

Easy stuff nowadays...If it is not that high competition try making some backlinks, alt tags.... But the main thing that gives the push nowadays is the G+ and twitter. Try getting it exposed to the market also with your link attached to the image.
