Google Image Search - Improving Image Rankings

Hey Folks,

I've seen a few posts around improving ranking for Google image search results but nothing recently and nothing for images that don't link back to a specific site.

I wouldn't believe this if I read it in someone else's post BUT - this is for a good cause, promise (is a women's cause).

My project doesn't require traffic from the images, just trying to get the images to rank on page 1 for a very specific (and not super common) couple of keywords.

Plan thus far is to...

• Upload to imgur, update the title and description
• Post to sub reddit with the same keywords as the title
• Write articles for Buzzfeed / Medium etc. with the images
• Post videos to YouTube with thumbs as the images and buy views (both through bumper ads as less legit ways)
• Buy retweets of all articles and image links
• Pay click farm to visit, upvote, share, view, retweet, etc.

What else ya got?

Also keen to know if anyone has any decent contacts for clicks farms, YouTube view buys and retweet buys.

I'm interested in this too, especially what factors trigger an image to display at the top of the 'normal' organic search page

Me too. My products are very visual and google images plays a significant part of the buying process so need to improve google rankings for images
