Google ignoring demographics ?

Hi there!
So, is anyone else experiencing this issue at the moment? Even though you give google a specific age range for your audience, they seem to ignore it and give you traffic anyway. And the option to completely exclude those age ranges also seems to not work at the moment. It clearly must be a bug, because it doesn't work for genders either and that would obviously be detrimental.
I have contacted their support, but have not gotten a response so far.
