Google Hot Trends+Clickbank=$$$

Good stuff man. You did it again.
If only we could fully automate this.

No sales from yesterday's trends although there was great traffic on my blogs and docs. I am making new ones and would share results when I get any new sale.

Thanks for the updates. How much money is there to be made using this technique, are you keeping count of the number of blogs created to sales made?
Thanks

This is a question that only you can answer by actually testing the method, tracking, and making adjustments.

Otherwise there's $0 to be made from this and any other method for that matter.

Update===>> Today I picked out a hot trend that was "mad men s03e06". I read the relevant posts about this trend and I came to know it was a T.V show that was being launched with season 3 new episodes. While analyzing the trend I also noticed that the main traffic was coming from newyork city so I quickly picked it out and wrote a short 150 words keyword rich ad about this trend and posted it in CL, Backpage and Kijiji in newyork. At the end I monetized my ad with satellite t.v offer from clickbank. I created backlinks around my ads as usual and in just 30 minutes my ad was showing up in google and other search engines and then after 6 hours I made two sales of my satellite T.V offer.

It should be noted, sales are not consistent. Sales stop when the trend dies down. Sometimes there is not a sale for many days. So be quick and pick out the right trend at the right time and monetize it with different sites and you will make sales for sure.

What is your experience with this method? Has anyone of you made any sale using this method? Please share your experiences.

wdarpk can you please pm me or something because My first few blogger.com posts were really successfull, now my last 10 have been failures with NO clicks at all. Im doing the submitting to digg, redit, pinging, etc with Google Trends. + all the works... what am I doing wrong here??

Not every volcanic kw on google trends is worth chasing - some peak briefly and can be very specific to a certain location or city. e.g. today i noticed stafon johnson was the number one kw - a small time player for a college football team. Its prob not worth wasting any time adding pages for that.

What I suggest is use Google Trends in conjunction with the Google Keyword Tool and check related phrases that might have a longer lifespan, but also capitalizes on the trending kw.

Update:

I have still got two new sales from leighton meester sex tape blog of my own product to day.

No sale from any blog I built yesterday. Anyways I am working on my new idea and share it here when I complete my experiment and get good results.

this is so funny. My brother dated her and he is the one that shot the sextape with her. I believe he blackmailed her for a good amount hahaha

Ok, so for the most part this is the first time I have legitimately tested a method from this site. I have tried this on 2 seperate occasions so far with not much progress. I created a keyword rich word document about a volcanic trend w/ clickbank link, uploaded to scribd and then submitted to a few social bookmarking sites. I have only got around an average of 50 views each the first time I have tried this. Am I doing something wrong or should I keep trying until something clicks? No I will not be giving up, just wondering if anyone has some advice on how I am going about this.

@bhjjc:
Was your Clickbank link at least a little bit related to the hot trend you picked ?

Did you download the Make Money From The Internet "course" from my post #70 in this thread ?
It is only a 5 page pdf, and the first page is the cover. So you have 4 pages with 7 steps. Each step also has a video showing you what to do.
Everything is in there. You'll notice a lot of similarities with what the OP has posted. (Combine the information.)
In step 1 you are already told which products to match to what type of trend.
Steps 5 and 6 tell you where to get traffic from. Step 7 is not really a step, he just tells you to go back to hot trend and repeat the steps (it's the only filler in the pdf).
Code:

Step 1 - Google Hot Trends
  • Go to the Google Hot Trends page-
    Code:
    http://www.google.com/trends/hottrends
  • Browse through Hot Trends.
    • Look for Hot Trends that are related to topics that you know of that people actively spend money in.
      • Sports = Sports Memorabilia Sales
      • Music Lyrics = CDs
      • DVD, Movies, or Song Titles = Merchandise
      • Actors = Movies Merchandise
      • Product or Major Brand Names = Products
      • Click on Hot Trend title for more information.
    • Browse related blog posts to see ideas for content.
    • Browse news stories related to that topic for content ideas or to learn more about that topic.
  • Select Hot Trend you want to work with.
So Hot Trend in first place is not necessarily the most profitable one.

Not too long ago I received a tip from wakkaoaka on how to monetise Twitter traffic : Simple polls, quizzes, and questionnaires.

Untargeted traffic, or from Hot Trands works equally well.
At the moment I am experimenting a little bit with the 30-day trial of Poll Factory 2.0 on CPA Offers, and it is pretty good at converting Twitter traffic.
Basically you create a Yes/No, or True/False poll about the Hot Trend that you picked.
After voting, your visitor gets to see the result of the poll for a number of seconds (that you set) then your visitor is redirected to your CPA/Affiliate Offer. Which of course you have tried to match as much as possible to the Hot Trend (or whatever the subject of the poll is).
Code:
http://www.thepollfactory.com/
(Poll Factory works in all browsers, but the backend where you create the polls, only works in FireFox and Opera.)

@g-vector. Everytime I try to download the pdf from your post it brings me to another page where the only option is to upgrade for $47. I cannot figure out how to just download the free version.

And yes, my clickbank products were related. For example, yesterday I wrote a short article on the 2012 movie because it was a volcanic trend, I put a link to a clickbank product where you could download/stream movies online.

After you have filled out your name and email , you get to the upsell page.
How about reading the very first line ?

Yea I got it now. I guess the email just took a while to go through, going to get started with it and see what I can do.

i sometime use analytical sites to get indexed pretty quick. That is in addition to web 2.0 / bookmarkings as mentioned above.

http://www.websiteoutlook.com/yourdomain.com
http://www.statbrain.com/yourdomain.com
http://www.quantcast.com/yourdomain.com
http://www.aboutus.org/[FONT=&quot]yourdomain.com

just replace the "yourdomain.com"

I think I saw a post on this method somewhere on bhw, sorry for not crediting :-(,

I also create a quick CL ad with backlink

PS:I tried the method with cheap EMail submit just to test, totally crappy keyword which made me just couple submits. But that prove the concept works. Now I might look for ways to automate it and add twist to it than move on,
thx for the share

In a case like this, the most common problems are:

1. Your targeted keywords are too competitive.
2. You're not promoting your sites enough

If you're blogger blogs are still there when you type in the URL, then they are not deleted.
