So, I spent the past week busting my butt creating a website. By day 2 I had about 25 pages on it all with 1000 plus words of content on them all indexed by google. On day 3 or 4 I decided to "make for a good user experience" and organize all of it into tabs and accordions to make it clean, simple and very user friendly. By day 5, I had dropped from 25 pages indexed, down to 4 pages indexed. I knew my content was top notch, so I did some testing. I pulled the tabs off one of the pages and sent googlbot to re-crawl my entire site. The only page that got indexed in this round was the page I removed the tabs from. The next day I did the same thing, with the same result.
My conclusion, don't put tabs and accordions on your site if you want it indexed.
