Google hates my site...can't understand why

Dude, sometimes we just leave out a simple things. Have you checked your website for keyword density ? Also how are you creating links ?

I mean, you can get pr2 - pr 9 links, pointing to a certain post, say article A.
Then create a related post section and post 4-5 articles there( post b,c,d etc) , so they now also have some juice being passed. If you keep building backlinks and spread the love to other internal links, your blog will do well.

My advice- check how often google bot visits your site
I get tons of bots daily. Not sure which are Google though.
-use pinging devices
Using tons of them already.
try to concentrate on high PR 3+ backlinks not necesarly related to your niche
I've built backlinks on HIGH PR pages with 3+ pr.
-all the traffic comes from yahoo?
Yes and other sources.
Make sure you're not keyword stuffing in the title, or anywhere in your page(s), especially in h1 tags and stuff.
I doubt it would be considered stuffing, but I use the keyword frequently. Then again - I have lots of posts with different titles.
If you are being hosted by a shared hosting server, other blacklisted sites might have gotten your entire I.P. address blacklisted. See if you can talk to your host about getting your C-class IP address changed.
I have other smaller sites on the IP but they are getting traffic just fine from google and none of them have really anything shady going on, don't think any of them are blacklisted.

Otherwise, I can't think of much! Try acquiring a couple PR 6 and PR 7 backlinks. And some .edu .mil. or .gov.
Done that.

Have you opened an account at Google Webmaster tools? This will tell you if Google sees a problem with your site. It will also let you see which links it recognises and which keywords it recognises as important on your site.-
Yes, and I have submitted sitemaps and everything.

Funny thing - I am getting a bit of google traffic but it's mostly for stupid phrases I'm not concentrating on at all and for "keyword+keyword" search and some are ffrom google images.

you must have a good ratio of pages and links. unique content doesn't guarantee the usefulness of your site. let me ask you? how do you define unique content? is the definition of unique content is rewriting people's articles and get 50% uniqueness? if that's your definition, then it doesn't matter how much content you put on your site.
No, it's really unique. I have scraped content as well but I mostly focus on unique content now.

That's actually what I'm doing right now! I'm using the related posts plugin!

Really, it's so weird because I have many shittier sites than this which get more Google traffic without any backlinks at all. I just don't get it.

how many pr3+ backlinks do you have?

I have also heard somewhere that over pinging can cause some serious problems. I am not saying its the reason, just a newb's assumption.

Contact somebody from google and ask for answers, why is this thing happening. Try to be specific. I have absolutly no idea why this is happening to you.

It's naive to think Google will be giving me answers. Also - there is no really a way to contact Google. Everybody would be doing so if there was :D

Well, I did a lot of those Paula backlinks on her profile sites. Of course, not all are indexed but there are quite a few. I haven't counted though.

Move to another webhost. I had the same problem 3 months back. As soon as i changed the host, i hit number 1 for my keywords. Please dont stop building links or adding fresh content.

That's interesting, can you tell us which webhost was it?

Also, about angela and paul backlinks they are ok but usually they are not pr3+, so don't count on them for link juice.

Might be common sense, but if you're receiving ZERO hits from google have you checked your robots.txt or meta to ensure you're allowing Google to spider and index your site? If you're using wordpress etc, and used fantastico to install it, the default setting is to not allow indexing etc.

http://www.yoururl.com/robots.txt

If your robots.txt says:

User-agent: *
Disallow:

and then http://www.sitename.com/?/robots.txt shows my actual page.

does that mean the site is allowing Google to spider/index the site?

If they are not PR3+ then in that case I don't know what is PR+. Can you give me some examples?

I'm not receiving zero hits from Google, just very, very few.

The problem with angela and paul backlinks is that while the sites are pr5+ when you actually create a profile page or whatever, its page rank is basically much less than pr5, usually pr0 which is pretty much crap.

If you want to know your backlinks pr simply get market samurai (its here in the download section) and check your site in the SEO competition module. there is an option there to analyze the backlinks of every page you desire.

Market samurai then sort all the backlinks according to pr and anchor text as well, really useful.

How many pages of your site are indexed on google? Why the fuck do you not have analytics set up? I'm guessing your lacking with google webmaster tools too then....

Get registered on both, submit a site map. See if google is having any issues with your site, obviously you are doing something wrong.

Get over the fear of revealing your domain. You could receive infinite more advice if you were to tell people what your site was and the keywords you are trying to hit. What do you have to lose at this point?

The above means that you are allowing Google to scan and index your site, and the reason /?/aodnaos would be showing your site is because the ? is seen as a query, so http://www.yoursite/?/?/?/asodnaodna892n should also bring up your site.

If you search for your URL in Google does it show up at all anymore? It could be that you had implemented some blackhat techniques, one of your competitiors have red flagged your site and you have had a penalisation put upon your site.

When all else fails, just ask the Big G for a re-inclusion. I've had this happen before and once they review your site 9 times out of 10 you'll see your results return :) - http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=35843

There is also a setting in wordpress (if you are using wordpress) that stops spiders from seeing your site. If you used Fantastico from your host to set up wordpress then be sure to doublecheck your wordpress installation.

You may want to ask you host for a unique IP for your site. It should cost about 1-2 dollars / month.
