that's what i'm thinking, main keywords are done. now all you can do is go for long tail.Good keyword research always brings traffic if you do good posts.
Has worked for me all the time.
I have to disagree with you on this. you can tell what is an ad and what is not because you are in the field. your typical milf will just look at the google screened results and call them. It's not that bad.
All sections you described many people skip and go to organic by principle.
What is greater threat for typical SEO is people leaving search engines all together to get answers elsewhere.

If that hot milf is looking for her baby cub i bet she would skip all of google's features with weird ai generated cougar and cubs stories and try to find a real cub.I have to disagree with you on this. you can tell what is an ad and what is not because you are in the field. your typical milf will just look at the google screened results and call them.
The point is what does the average or typical web surfer do, not us heavy duty IM folks do. Average surfers are looking to get a question answered, which may or may not result in them actually going to a site from the Google page. In general, they don't scroll down or go to page 2. We've known for decades that the reason search results #1-3 or 4 get more clicks is because they are towards the top of that first page. Position 1 was roughly 30% likely to get clicked, position 2 was about 20% likely, 3 and 4 about 10%, and so on in the diminishing returns.Since when do you lookup google and press the sponsored everytime, or never scroll to the bottom, or even to page 2? I think this is a made up issues, everyone has the same possibility for exposure depending on their subject. People don't just blindly click the top, otherwise why would google show 10? they all get some kind of traffic.
