Google Has Released August 2023 Core Update

Those who got hit at last core updated, if they fix the issue only these vendors get benefits from this August 2023 core update. if someone hits recent update then just fix the issue prorperly and wait for next core update.
 
It's time for us, webmasters to analyze and adapt to ensure we're riding the wave of this update effectively.
 
There was a big jump today. My impression so far is that it's all about "conversion by algo" backlinks.
- Domains that have recently acquired a lot of strong backlinks, strong growth.
- Domains with sporadic outflow of backlinks and no new ones, strong declines.

"Ads optimization algorithms".......I propose to send a petition to Google to rename their "core updates" to "Ads optimization algorithms" because it's so fucking true.
 
For about 2-3 days, the advertising revenue fell by 40%, and then returned to normal.
 
How are everyones AI generated content doing? anything related to it?

I keep looking at top 10 of some of keywords that I monitor and I find half of the pages are garbage but have strong backlinks. I thought Big G was fro quality articles. That's not entirely true.

You're still not ranking more than those crap pages? Omo... Maybe they have good backlinks
 
This update, is not about content. In my opinion, it is related to backlinks.

I have the impression that this core update was a "correction" to the December 2022 algorithm update. I rearrange an example below:

Now with the implementation of the core update, the entire money site got a boost ranking, the current displays have equaled the status of a year ago:
