Google has Local SEO SOOO fucked up.

I need someone in Benham to take of traffic ticket problem, so I search for "brenham tx traffic lawyer".

In the entire first page, there is no law office listed, only directories, and in ALL of these directories, there are exactly 3 (one does not even have a website) lawyers found that are actually in Brenham (this city is the county seat). They are not traffic lawyers.

The first spot in the serps is:

And has ZERO lawyers in Brenham, they only list law offices hat SERVE Brenham, not who are actually located there.

The second spot is held by:

Which has ZERO lawyers listed, only ads.

How the hell is that useful to searchers? The last thing I want to do is hire a lawyer in Austin to travel out to Brenham and charge me for it.

This is getting ridiculous. If you want to rank locally you need to build a directory and only list your customers, or run ads, it seems.

Instead of complaining
Get building websites and looking for lawyers to sell them too.

Try the yellow pages for potential customers
and you might even get one, that gets your traffic fine thrown out

Start building local directories for various niches man, its a un-exploited gold mine.

Build a lawyer a website and then get your traffic ticket problem taken care of for free!

No disrespect. I've seen a lot of your posts, and it appears you are knowledge in regards to local seo.

Its Brenham, Tx. Unless you illegally parked your dairy cow at the Blue Bell factory, then I cant imagine there being any other opportunity for a traffic violation.

Austin is just 60-70 miles from Brenham. Its actually in between Houston and Austin. So I dont know why any lawyer would want to actually set up practice there. The Blue Bell factory is tempting tho.
