Nope, it s not true. Google has never released before exact data, just some volume percent levels estimations.

Now, on the other hand, they are releasing information that will bankrupt companies such as wordtracker or keyword discovery, who were charging like 300$ per year to give you the data google is giving you for free now.

All I can say is....

It's about damn time!

Maybe Google is going to lighten up about other things too. Look how "cool" they just became by freeing this up. They don't have to be tight-wad assholes to dominate the search industry (especially the way Yahoo's offline business dealings are going lately)

It may be related to the Yahoo deal...they are not afraid anymore to give out search info.
