Today google can build a 100% automatised city including everything with new technology that overcomes government, for example sometimes the DARPA hire google when they need the highest level of technology, they also plan to make a real IA for 2030 and many next level technologies like their automated car, they also will participate in a Russian project in order to build a cybernetic body to put the brain inside after the death of the human body and many other things I let you check by yourself, they bought all the best company in the IA and cybernetic field so no google is not anymore a corporation based on internet ads.

Google's ads are not only source for them and still it is kind of marketing,
