I 100% agree with this. I've been using Phpbuilt's guide ever since it came out and it's been pure gold. Haven't seen the guy online for a while, but I really hope he is well

Not if he has 8 keywords dotted around 80 - 100 and 1 traffic.

I was trying to be dramatic, yet polite, so I went after "grandma" phrases.
Well CB niches can be pretty spammy. I literally got a site for one of the top 10 products (not anymore) still in top 10 with 2K word homepage article, 20x300 word articles as support and really shit outsourced PBN links. No idea how it's still sticking there honestly. Did my portion of CB stuff in the past, no longer focusing on that and you can rank pretty easily there with shit links. Though it's nothing long term for sure. CB niches behave differently. They are new keywords, everybody is trying to rank them, amount of spam is higher and then search volume starts to fall down and people stop pushing the sites. New keywords behave differently than established ones. It's day and night difference. But as a rule of thumb, it won't work in non spammy niches. You can try that with amazon for example and it won't get you far IMO.
Shame CB went to shit. Few years back, the amount of awesome products being launched was huge. So much money there to be made. And now it's just shite.
indeed ..i was once banking $20k per month from CB
now its just waste of time and resources. You can invest same resources and time in amazon for more stable income.
and I agree that different categories behave differently when it comes to SEO however at the end of the day it all comes to personnel experience and experimentation
some people are still ranking with just comments links ( check dissertation writing niche)

I Love this fredy Kruger update! haha im seeing some tracked competitors are losing it my advise stay away from public pbns and with high OBL.. And pBns that doesn't have real traffic and over optimized..
My current status is still ranking solidly at page 1 and i still love PBNs!!!!
Banking and tanking! fyi be sure to treat your site including pbns with love! Then you'll be rewarded..

If you're going to post rehashed nonsense to a forum of avid SEOs.. then you better learn how to express (whether angry or not) yourself without using homophobic terms when those same SEOs call the nonsense out, or don't bother with the nonsense at all might be a wiser idea.
