Ill give it to google they really know how to get people using their products. Just logged into some of my blogspot blogs to see that now if I want to share it with twitter/facebook/other social media sites I will have to update my whole blogger profile to my Google+ profile, I don't want all my blogs to have the same writer name (for obvious reasons) and if I knew I had to use one Google+ account with one public name I would of made separate accounts for each blog :/ all this to get people to use Google+ more frequently is very annoying but there is always manually sharing on social media. Although, Google+ seems to add some benefits to blogspot blogs such as being able to share and gain followers on your blog if you have many Google+ "friends"? I've never actually used Google+ just have some opened from youtube accounts. Wondering what everyone else thoughts are on this. This kind of makes me just want to switch to wordpress for all my blogging bl needs.

    Bust-in,

Yes you are very correct about this. Google accounts have a one-to-many relationship. So no matter what Google Service you sign up for (i.e. analytics, adwords, G+, blogger, docs, etc), you will have a default version of everything. Of course all the other accounts won't be fully configured but yes they are created by default. I have seen many people say this is annoying but you have to admit it's a clever business model.

    Best,
    Shawn

I still remember with pleasure the day some douchebags on BHW were voicing with strong non-arguments the forecast of some MASSIVE success of g+, not like buzz, not like orkut: this time 'twas gonna be huge and destroy FB and a few parallel universes... Google keeps resorting to these cheap tricks more and more with their flaky attempts to be hip in EVERY single field... Meh.. But good for them, it must be fun to have a few more million of inactive/banned accounts: I'm not worried.

    GOOG will be heartbroken.

Seriously though why complain about the hoops blogspot makes you jump though when there's hundreds of alternatives?
