Google folder and docs for a load of ******** links?!

I'm studying the doc sharing method and while I was looking at the competition, I fell on this :

https://www.edocr.com/v/bkngkwam/poconorealestateagentmilford/Buyers-Real-Estate-Agent-Milford-PA

In short :

- The uploaded doc is original content.
- Links to Google site and Twitter
- 20 links to google docs with original content in a Google folder (all public)
- 20 bit.ly leading to the same docs.

I'm perplexed. Does all these docs get ******** links and being ******* themselves create a power block of backlinks?
- Also, does a Google Site can be used as a web 2.0 for the MS?

Anyone with a thought on this ?

How exactly did you stumble upon this? Have you used any specific keywords?

I just searched in the doc sharing websites for other shared docs.

This was cutting edge, a few years ago. Now it's no magic shortcut to rank. Don't go nuts with this, if you spam it you can get the same bad results as if you spam any other method.

On a serious note, this is just your run of the mill google property stack. Google RYS stack to read more about it.

It was very hyped some time ago.

I've search "Google RYS stack". Essentially, it's an old method that doesn't work anymore?

I think it never was the amazing ranking power sellers made it out to be.

Is still a backlink on a google property. It is a decent link. Remove the spammy bitly and then it is just a good doc share link.

Nothing wrong with that. Just dont expert a miracle.

The "Real Estate" guy published docs in his Google folder and then uploaded them (same content) as PDF in doc sharing website.

Isn't it duplicate content? (and so, kill his whole strategy)?

did you find a site that showed you how to create this stack? most of the sites that I came across were selling the service

No : I found it freshly uploaded by another SEO guy on edocr.

Maybe it's someone from here.
