Yes You shouldn't install GA to "black / white - mix" page.

    Don't use google analitycs !

Google has build the damn thing to (find BH webmasters) learn from your site. They use the stats for they'r own purpose, it can affect your rating in google.

I vote for a total ban of GA.

I'm paranoid, and I do NOT use GA for Black Hat sites, only sites that I'm sure Matt Cutts will get a hard on looking at the source code and linking :D

I don't think so that GA will effect your ranking or tracking that u are using black hat. They have many other tool for to track them. But you have any doubt than you can use any other tool to track your visitors because precaution is better then cure ;).

I'm pretty sure this is nothing more than paranoia. Google has been at the sharp end of privacy concerns in the past and its worked very hard to make itself squeeky clean in that regard.

As already mentioned they've other ways and means of detecting blackhat techniques without risking their corporate image on underhand techniques like this.

I read somewhere that the time the user is on your site, is part of the algorithm used for rank. And the only way they could know that, is by GA.

I guess we should use GA in our white hat, and others options in grays and black ones

Hi, I have a question. If you say, don't install Analytics of Google, how do Alexa collect the informations? I tried following:
I subscribed my site to a traffic exchange site and the analytics was on. After running the exchange script that visited my sites, I noticed that the Alexa ranking increase my ranking. Then I deleted my site in the google analytics and Alexa stoped counting. Thats mean, if you want increase your Alexa ranking, you have to enable the Google Analytics because Alexa collect the information for her ranking from Google Analytics.

    But I have another problem:
If the Analytics is on, the Google can see all my referrer urls from the exchange site. And I think thats not very good. I tried the CPA Redirector for Wordpress but I still see the referrers on my stats.

Knows anybody how can I hide the referrers on my Wordpress from Google? The CPA Rdirector works fine but I don't understand, why is the referrer visible. In detail, I made the redirections in the plugin and then provided my cloaked links to as my exchange links by the exchange site, but still the exchange site url appear in the statisrics.

    Can anybody help? Thanks.

That 's not true. Otherwise, sites without analytics wouldn 't have an alexa ranking.
