Google drive and instagram video hosting

Since the downfall of the most profitable and working video host(Verystream, openload and etc, I'm looking to build on something more reliable. I've noticed that a lot of different sites host videos on google and even Instagram through custom domains. Anyone know how this is done and willing to point me in the right direction?

What do you mean by hosting on G Drive and Instagram? Can you show us an example? I'm thinking that what you saw was a URL forwarding. And you could use google drive (or any other cloud service really) to host videos but that isn't ideal depending on what you're trying to accomplish
 
You want to have the very source of the video so that you can embed it on your own player and monetize it with pop ads, right? Since embedding the youtube player doesn't trigger the ads when users click play.

Well, the gdrive (and I guess instagram) method is uploading the videos directly on the platform, and finding the cdn url, to be fair I don't remember how to do it, since these urls are very well hidden behind a bunch of masks and other urls that are a generated string that constantly change, are valid only for a certain amount of minutes, and/or are bound to your ip (So if you open it from another IP, it won't work).

I used to do it with gdrive but that was in 2017 so I don't remember (I didn't want to pay for hosting because it would have been thousands in hosting fees a month, so I kept looking until I found this way to do it free. I guess that's your case as well)

Yes that's basically it, but I wasn't sure on the method on where to start but what you said does help alittle bit guess i'll have to experiment
 
I think i have that script before, but i don't think that would be flexible enough, you need api to reup the videos to gdrive or insta and embed it into your own player
 
Well I can provide you with up the idea there's a plugin for WordPress "use your drive" you can find it on codecanyon or any nulled sites if you are not intended to buy that script... That plugin will help you to create a video player of the video in the GDrive and works with GSuite too I have tested it... But if you need a nice UI you have to work on the CSS... You can either extract the required Video script from it and use it in your website or you can add the plugin in you are using WordPress...

I am hoping I answered your question the way it's meant to be.

it'a a bad idea! If you receive 1 dmca complain, your entire account will be banned. Also Gdrive have too many limitations, for example if 1 video is watch for more than 100 people they block entire files 24h due to exceed. If you want to storage video, buy a server with big space...with 40-50 euro/month you can store few TB

Why will one be getting a DMCA complain? Can you explain this scenario to me as I am using GDrive to serve downloadable files on my website.

your content is warez or not? If is warez you know very well that you don't have right to post/distrubute unauthorized video material...so soon or later you will getting a DMCA complain

So, if video isn't warez you can use youtube(recommend)
If video is warez so you can't use youtube because your video is deleted and that's the reason to try to upload to other video source.

It's a good idea but after looking into more research into the topic it's not worth it. Thank you though

Well if your content is legit you can use Mega for file streaming and use its API (haven't used it but have seen some pieces of code and live few years back)..
 
You can use Facebook. Just create a new page with no followers, upload the videos there then embed on your website..
