You might be able to get some rankingadvantage of using their domains, dunno

They make you open a google wallet - we got an invitation along with a free domain (even to claim the free domain they make you open a google wallet account) - we will not use it. They offer free whois guard as well, but Google is the last place I would purchase a domain from or move domains to.
