First time when is happening this to me. Submitted feed to RSS aggregators, pinged the website, added sitemap...

Posted a few unique articles and Google doesn't want to catch them.

    Any ideas?

2,3 days is time wasting for a news website. Any ideas on how to increase the crawl % indexing rate?

    Cheers

I've had luck in the past joining Google Webmaster Tools and Bing Webmaster Tools and adding my site and sitemap there.

For index new websites I use : identi.ca
Create new account and then create group with your URL, Title, description then ping the group with pingler or pingfarm and wait. I see my website indexed in few hours (1-24h)

Just build some backlinks to it, Share it on Facebook, twitter and G+. Use social bookmarking sites they're much better than pinging services and even pass along link juice. It will be indexed within a day no problem. It's original content right?

By default WP settings block the site from search engines. Check your settings and make sure you aren't blocking it.

That is not the default setting for Wordpress. It is, however, something that should be checked out.

Did you buy the domain from someone else? There may have been spam conduct on it before.
