Google doesn't like MFAs (Adsense) but how about MFA/CBs (Amazon or Clickbank)?

We all know that Google doesn't like small MFA sites that use Adsense for monetization - but... how about a smaller site that is targeted at an Amazon or Clickbank product?

Do they just care about the small sites because they end up paying out with Adsense or do they also de-index sites that are micro-targeted at CPA products?

Anyone have any experiences of micro sites that are CPA targeted that have been doing well or have been de-indexed?

I've tried searching around, but didn't find anything on how Google has dealt with non-adsense micro sites.
