Anyone work with or know about Google display network banner ads?

When you rn adsense ads on your web page you are using the display network. You can choose either text or banner, or video.

hahaha. no i want to buy them not put them on my sight.

well i am starting to get it.

man....no one hear knows about it. Fascinating.

They do. Your question's just too broad.

edit: Actually, you just asked a yes or no question, and didn't really make it clear what you want to know.

Ha ha ha! "no one hear knows about it?" Ha ha ha! If you have an adwords account or use adsense, then you know about the "display network" which used to be called the "content network." I agree that you question is toooooo broad. What specifically do you want to know. The display network is no secret and there are plenty of adwords veterans around. But to answer your question, Yes.

Ok you're right. let me get more specific.

Im trying to run a banner ad on specific websites in adwords network. I have put my bids really high and still it is not getting placed. I understand that is because google likes the money it gets from the text ads might be the reason.

1. is that true?
2. Does anyone have any actual bid figures for what it takes to get a banner placed?

is that specific enough?

What is your display impressions?

I'm assuming you've done a traffic check first to see how many visitors the sites get?

Also there may be a lot of advertisers. What's the percentage of ads served?

hahahahaha I thought I was specific. hahaha uuuhhhhh....

No I have not done a traffic check, or I dont remember.

I do not know the percentage of ads served.

MY display impressions?

I guess i dont even know enough to ask a proper question. hahahaha:pat:

Pretty much gave up on display network for now.

Don't give up! If you find the right site to advertise on, (don't use keyword option use the option to find placements) you can find a winner.

I always start here to test drive a site before I use a media buy network like BSA. You can tweak banners, test traffic quality etc.

Once you've found a placement on google, go to semrush and compete to get traffic stats.

Usually image ads work best on a CPM basis.

Google normally take about 24 hours to review your image ad.

Like I said, the display network on google is good to test. Most of the sites on BSA and sitescout have Adsense.

Measure twice - cut once!

I wouldn't say it that much effective as Adwords for an advertiser since pay per click brings better results overall.
